Marcus Patrick got fired from the soap "Days of our Lives" after his nude photos surfaced. He posed naked for Playgirl and there are also photos of him stripping at a gay bar in Hollywood.
He has been part of the cast of the NBC show for less than a year when he was fired. NBC hasn't released an official statement why he was really fired.

I think the network felt violated by those photos. Probably the network wanted him to maintain a macho image.
But then good publicity or bad publicity is still publicity. Oh well...
